At a time when the country must fight Covid 19 unitedly our politicians are busy blaming centre for their own lapses. The very same central govt that has managed to do all this in a week is being targeted and those who have done nothing for months are taking the high moral ground.
Within a week this is what the centre did …
- Centre has Airlifted 23 Oxygen tanks from Germany.
- Centre has Airlifted oxygen tankers from UAE.
- Centre has Airlifted oxygen tankers from Singapore.
- Centre is running Oxygen express Trains to every state.
- Centre is installing 262 oxygen plants in every state ( 33 already setup).
- Centre have taken all Industrial tycoons in loop and have asked Ambani /Adani/Tatas /Jindas etc to provide Oxygen from their Industrial plants.
- Created 1000+ beds in Delhi with ICU and Oxygen.
- Life saving Injection Remdisivir production increased to 90 lakh/month from 40 lakh/month.
- DRDO/ITBP/ARMY is providing Beds, doctors and every help under defence ministry.
- Industries can build health infrastructure using CSR after FM approved it.
- Vaccination open for 18+ from May 21.
- All BJP states will be providing vaccine for free.
- 5 kg free grains will be provided to 80 crore people for next 2 months at a cost of Rs 26,000 crores
This is what Modi has done within 1 week of 2nd wave.
Just imagine if Congress was in power!! We have already seen how people were left to die during Uttarakhand Floods. The drivers carrying relief materials were not even paid for diesel.
Today, we are not running low on PPE kits, masks, ventilators as increased our production last year.
Remember, this is a pandemic (Happened after 100 of years) , no country I repeat no country including Developed countries like US,UK, France , Italy can cope up with such dangerous wave!
You can abuse Modi as much as you can, but no other leader could have handled this Surge at this level where IAF/Army is being used.
The Bitter Truth: 162 Oxygen plants were sanctioned by centre to every state as per demand last year.. Money was sent too.
Only 33 plants were installed by states.
Delhi govt installed 1 out of 8 plant sanctioned by Central govt.

Arvind Kejriwal’s Ineptitude on Oxygen Issue Was Exposed in Delhi High Court too.
From the proceedings in Delhi High Court today, in a case related to Delhi’s oxygen crisis, it has become clear that Arvind Kejriwal’s government is sleeping at the wheel.
Court came down heavily on Delhi Govt since it is neither picking up its allocated supply of oxygen, nor is it delivering the available oxygen properly using tracking systems like GPS to track trucks.
During the first wave of COVID, when Delhi was reeling, Mr Kejriwal simply put his hands up and called for Centre’s help.
Amit Shah had to step in and bring the situation under control. This time, too, Mr Kejriwal is doing the same thing!
Arvind Kejriwal seems to have a simple strategy: Do nothing. Allow things to get worse. Centre steps in and saves the day. Then, Mr Kejriwal makes ads to claim credit.
In all this, the losers are the people of Delhi who are suffering due to lack of oxygen, while Mr Kejriwal is happy playing politics.
Doorstep delivery of oxygen AAP-style.
Last year, Arvind Kejriwal was in the news for promising door delivery of oxygen for COVID patients.
Whether that happened or not, today, his AAP government in Delhi has been chided by the Delhi High Court on the same issue of oxygen supply.
The situation of oxygen shortage in Delhi has been well known, and hospitals are repeatedly requesting oxygen on Twitter. If only Mr Kejriwal was available to them, they wouldn’t have to do this.
The Delhi High Court actually said, “The problem is you think allocation is done so everything will be served at your doorstep but that’s not how it works. After allocation have you made any effort for the tankers to collect the oxygen?”
To this, the Delhi government could only say they are trying!
Oxygen allocated, but AAP Govt won’t pick it up!
Central government has been working day and night to map sources of oxygen to their destinations. It has also deployed Air Force to fly in oxygen.
While the Centre is doing this, the Court asked Delhi government why it hasn’t arranged for its own tanks to get the logistics running to receive oxygen and supply it to hospitals.
“If allocation was done 3 days back, why didn’t you exercise your option to look for tankers? Your political head has himself been an administrative officer, he knows how it works.”, asked the Court!
For 3 full days, Mr Kejriwal’ government did nothing to organise tankers to mobilise oxygen despite their quota being allocated to them!
The Court also unequivocally said that the oxygen supply has primarily been affected due to non-arrangement of cryogenic tanks by the AAP government in Delhi!
