As Exit Polls predict defeat for Gandhis, Congress darbar attempts narrative change to Covid-19!!

As Exit Poll results started trickling in from 4 states and the UT of Puducherry once again showing that it would be bad news for the Congress Party (which is slated to lose Assam to BJP, Kerala to Left parties, Puducherry to the NDA alliance, make no real dent in Bengal nor count for much in Tamil Nadu) it seemed that Congress spokespersons had adopted a new strategy- Derail and deviate to protect their Yuvraj Rahul who couldn’t , as per these Exit Polls, even manage to win Kerala from where he is an MP. So the grand old party decided, with help from some biased media platforms and anchors, that the only issues they will talk about in Exit Polls discussions was about Covid-19. Not because they care about Covid but because Covid Bahana hai, Rahul baba ko haar se bachana hai!

If Congress really cares about Covid would they care to answer these questions?

Rahul Gandhi was doing rallies in Kerala till 4th April. Mass rallies with close contact. Numbers show that Kerala COVID cases shot up massively after the campaigning ended? Is Rahul Gandhi not irresponsible? (5th April Kerala has 2802 cases. Today there are 38,000 cases reported. He was doing push-ups and swimming in the ocean without a mask and perhaps infecting people.
Rahul Gandhi did rallies in Bengal till mid of April and only cancelled when he himself suspected Covid. How responsible is that?
Why was Chattisgarh CM not in his home state in the entire month of March but campaigning elsewhere? Why is test positivity in districts of Chattisgarh as high as 70%? Why are resources of the state used to entertain politicians from Assam?
Why was Rajasthan Health Minister doing time-pass with Salman Khan’s bodyguard in the middle of second wave? Rajasthan also allowed mass gathering for the funeral of Maulana Gazi Fakir who was the father of the cabinet minister of Gehlot govt- Saleh Mohd.
Why are ventilators sent through PM CARES gathering dust in Jharkhand and Punjab?
Punjab is one of the most affected states. Why is Captain fighting with Sidhu rather than working on Covid? Whye were Kisan Andolanjeevis not banned from rallies and marching to Delhi? Kumbh was Corona positive but Kisan netas blocking Delhi’s borders are Corona proof?
Maharashtra has contributed most to cases and deaths in the country. Instead of working on Covid why was MVA busy in Vasooli? They are fighting for credit even in the process of vaccination.
Why did Sonia Gandhi let her party men attack the vaccine in public and go take the vaccine in private? Why did she not give a message urging people to get vaccinated?
Why were Congress governments like one in Chhattisgarh inciting people against Covaxin at the CM level and the Health Minister stopped the vaccine from using and let the stock go waste?
Why did Punjab say no to Bharat Biotech’s COVAXIN which got a thumbs up from Dr Anthony Fauci?
Senior leaders of Congress party were inciting people against vaccines in January. Manish Tewari not only tweeted that Indians are being used as ‘Guinea pigs” but also held press conference on it. How do you defend such atrocious acts?
Has any senior Congress leader taken the vaccine? If yes then why not campaign in public to take it? If no then why not?

Like we said, certain sections would not be discussing Covid if Congress would have been ahead in these Exit Polls. They would have been writing the epitaph of Modi govt. But because the Lutyen’s Ecosystem has to save the first family from political distancing , they are now pretending to care about social distancing and Covid-19! Well, the mask is off!

America’s top expert Dr Anthony Fauci gives Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin thumbs up-Will Vaccine Doubters apologise?

White House chief medical adviser and America’s top pandemic expert Dr Anthony Fauci has given a big statement on India’s indigenous Bharat Biotech Covaxin in Washington. Speaking to reporters during a conference call on Tuesday, Fauci said “This is something where we’re still gaining data on a daily basis. But the most recent data, was looking at convalescent Sera of COVID-19 cases and people who received the vaccine used in India, the Covaxin. It was found to neutralise the 617 variants.” He added that “Despite the real difficulty that we’re seeing in India, vaccination could be a very, very important antidote against this.” The New York Times also on Tuesday said Covaxin works by teaching the immune system to make antibodies against the virus. The antibodies attach to viral proteins, such as the so-called spike proteins that stud its surface.

Covaxin has been made by Bharat Biotech in partnership with National Institute of Virology and the Indian Council of Medical Research and got approval for emergency use on January 3. Later on the trial results showed the vaccine has an efficacy of 78%.

Unfortunately however , when Covaxin got the EUA in January along with SII’s Covishield an entire gamut of political leaders viciously attacked the indigenous vaccine & pushed completely baseless and unscientific propaganda that led to vaccine hesitancy among many. This was done merely because they kept Politics above Pandemic and Modi Virodh above Corona Virodh. Today, the very same lot are demanding more and more vaccines for their respective states but imagine the huge toll their politics took on a national mission to vaccinate every Indian by just revisiting their propaganda and selective rhetoric.

A leader of Samajwadi party said the vaccine could make you impotent while Akhilesh Yadav, Fmr CM of Uttar Pradesh said he would not trust “BJP’s Covid vaccine” .

Congress Leaders like Jairam Ramesh and Shashi Tharoor raising concern over DCGI approval to the indigenous Covid-19 vaccine had asked the health minister Dr Harshwardhan to explain why mandatory protocols and verification of data “had been dispensed with”. Congress leader Manish Tewari said, “The government should not roll out vaccines till their efficacy is completely established and mandatory phase-3 trials are over, as Indians are not ‘guinea pigs’.”

Opposition-ruled states such as Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Punjab had raised concerns over the Covid vaccine safety and questioned the “rushed” manner in which the inoculation drive was being pushed.

Ironically, today the very same leaders and state governments accuse the Narendra Modi led government of not giving enough vaccines and ensuring vaccination at an even faster pace! This some say is hypocrisy at its worst!

Angry citizens are now asking – will those who created hurdles in vaccination by refusing or doubting Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin apololise?
